Sheru chair: A complete reinterpretation of the shell chair

Sheru stands for shell in Japanese. With its minimal design it promises maximum comfort. Excellence is manifested not only in its formal language, but also in the craftsmanship that has been completed. In order to create a completely new sitting feeling, the ergonomic shape has been rethought from every angle.

Thanks to an ingenious cutting technique, surfaces merge here into a new form. Sheru chAIR is the breathable bucket seat from Walter Knoll and offers seating comfort and ventilation – thanks to the new chAIR technology.

Lighter than air: the Sheru Secret

Invisible yet noticeable as soon as you take your seat: the innovative chAIR technology ensures a groundbreaking seating experience. Hardly thicker than a yoga mat, the seat is not only incredibly comfortable, but also breathable.

How is this possible? The backrest and seat contain hidden openings through which cool air can circulate freely around the body. Integrated ribbons in the shape of palm leaves create a pleasantly springy sitting feeling.
