The CH29 chair was designed in 1952.

The cutting out in the sides of the back, the pointed legs and the elaborate execution of the joint between forelegs and hind legs are details making the sawhorse chair a distinctive and sculptural piece of furniture. Wegner's construction of the CH29 has resulted in a chair as sturdy as any traditional chair but with the use of fewer parts.

The heavily curved back and wide seat front makes it a very comfortable chair. Designed and manufactured to last a lifetime.

The CH29 is available with a papercord seat or cushioned seat pad (Kvadrat fabric, Alcantara, Glove or leather). Available in Beech soap finish, Beech Black lacquered, Ash soap finish, Oak soap finish, Cherry oiled or lacquered.
